After The wave

The flute concert fund raising event was a wonderful success. A hugh "Thank you" to the Chulalongkorn University Flute Ensemble directed by Suncheep Vidayanakorn. The numbers who attended far exceeded our expectations and we raised over25,000 baht for the organization.

This month we purchased supplies and school uniforms for the new students added to After The Wave. They are being delivered to the kids on the weekend of Nov. 28-29.

Nong "R" was in Bangkok for about three weeks for the next round of corrective surgery on her hand. We also supported another ATW kid who contracted H1N1. He has recovered well, and we were happy to be able to pay for some of the medications and to get him quick medical attention.
