Our visit last month was a busy affair as we photographed the students, interviewed them about their progress at school, measured them for new clothes, and had them write thank-you cards to their sponsors. At the same time we met with the R35 teachers and thanked them for the support they show to us. It is through their efforts that we're able to function and provide help.

We also discovered that several ATW students had left the school, either through graduation, or the family had moved away. There are also new students added to the ATW list, including Marisa. She is 6 years old and in kindergarten. In Thailand the students start school in kindergarten, even if they are old enough for grade one or two. Marisa has a very severe ear infection, and we've helped to provide medical care for her at the Bangkok Hopsital in Phuket. Her brother is already one of the students we support.

Soon we will send email notifications about sponsorship renewals (for those sponsorships up for renewal). If the child you sponsor has left R35 and you chose to continue supporting ATW, then we'll try to match you up with one of the new students, or add your name to a waiting list.

Full photos of the trip will soon be available at our flick.com page.
